A great question. Certainly there is some information on this but beyond the research it's important also to say that despite the data giving clear guidelines you must always remember that your target market may not be typical of the users on that platform and a s such you still need to use a little trial and error to ensure you're getting it just right for your brand.
Certainly each platform is a little different and as well as that, the other complicating factor is that some of you will be targeting other regions other than where you are based that have different times of day and therefore this also needs to be factored in and adjusted for, thereby ensuring that the value of the research is able to be adapted to your specific circumstances.

However despite this information about when to put up new updates the key still remains to put up quality material that your readers, viewers and users will enjoy, use and and share with others in their networks.
