I've been noticing a trend lately about how many famous people are starting to wear the less commonly seen and certainly more distinguished looking black diamonds in rings and other commonly worn fashion items.

Wanting to learn more I went into a well known jewelry store and saw two rings that fitted the bill nicely.

The first was a 0.04 carat black diamond in a 9 carat gold band selling for $177 and the other was a .36 carat stone with a thinner 9 carat gold band for $1300. Additional research has revealed that black diamonds cost around $3000 per carat.

I have now found a current special for an authentic 1 carat independently certified black diamond for  under $1000.   Click here to see for yourself:

I wanted to pass this on to all my connections in case any of you are also looking to buy a ring or other form of personal jewelry and think you might also be interested in going down this less traveled but stunningly impressive option.
