Recently I was lucky enough to be able to spend some time with Aussie mum and business woman Lisa Koba who impressed me no end with her wonderful product range Cheeky Little Socks that impressed me so much that as soon as I saw it I knew I wanted to talk about them on the Road Scholars Blog and explain why I believe they are destined to do great things in the local and possibly even off shore the markets.

The cheeky story story started in 2005 with a cute 6-month-old baby and some polished wooden floors. Lisa Koba kept watching her gorgeous bub slip and slide on the floorboards as she attempted to stand. But when Lisa went searching for a solution, nothing available on the market would fit the non slip bill. A classic example of an unmet need within a well known and mature market.
So very wisely she decided to set about designing her own improved shoe that would fill this gap.

Wanting the best for her baby’s feet, Lisa knew her signature range of infant footwear certainly had to be a top quality, soft soled, non-slip product, that was made of genuine leather and yes remembering the importance of visual appeal, supremely cute to boot. After months of research, designing and sourcing materials, she finally hit upon the perfect slip-busting solution.
